Camshaft for lq4

Well im building a k2500 crew cab with a lq4 4l80e. was looking at the comp high lift cam 54-424-11 for my build but my buddy told me he has a ECS small blower cam out of his ls1 vette hed sell real cheap. The specs are not listed but on their site is says he "ECS Small Blower camshaft features lift in the .580" range and mid 220's duration on a 115LSA. The cam has a nice moderate idle tone, nothing obnoxious and very tame."

so ive been thinking about trying that cam in the truck anyways. I do have a small whipple I was going to install on it.
Is this too much cam for a heavy truck with stock stall convertor?
