Does anyone know what kind of torque or HP a stock t-56 will hold up to? I am wanting to put one in my truck and am plannig on putting a ls1 with a procharger in front of it. Any suggestions.

Torque breaks parts. One from an F-bod is going to be totally different in capacity in a truck due to the weight. I can't give you a straight answer as the few people with the swaps seem to run them all motor.

With the typical 5.3 and even at 10-12psi the only thing I'd see breaking would be the input shaft or potentially bending a shift fork. That type of stuff happens being an asshat with clutch dumps and big slicks.
