    Question Comp Cam

Anyone had any experience with Comp Cams 256Lr HR12 in a 5.7 LS1? .604 intake/265 duration and .61 exhaust/273 duration with 112 lsa should not have any problems with piston clearance should it? 243 stock heads.

I doubt you'll see p/v clearance issues but if you're concerned it's worth checking.
    Should be a strong cam.

I will be running that cam in my 5.3. Here are the specs @ .050" 215/223 .604/.61 112 +5. The cam is in the engine, but the engine is still on the stand. I installed it with 243 heads milled .03" to get compression back to stock for the 5.3. I bought the heads/cam as package from someone that was going to put it all on his 5.3, but sold his truck. He was told he wouldn't have any PTV issues with this combo. If you're not milling the heads, you have more clearance than I do.

I will likely not get my engine running any time soon as I still have a diff to rebuild and havent had time with school/work. If you do go with this, let us know how it does.
