    fuel pump comes on with headlight switch.

    Ok guys same truck I was having the headlights issue with we got the heads lights to come on but now the fuel pump primes and the ignition relay buzzes also the check engine lights up with tge headlights on. Fuel pump still works with the key but no the truck diesels when turn the key off

    oh man, that sounds like a mess!! lol time to get the meter out. sounds like you got a few wires that are all touching somehow. caused by a knife or something cutting the insulation and the bare copper touching or they are in an area getting too hot and insulation melted and now copper is touching... idk man. hard to see through the computer. what i dont get is the dieseling... are you carb'd?? how can a EFI motor possibly do that???? your talking about some CRAZY electrical problem that could somehow pulse the injectors AND fire the plugs.... thats just weird...

    Got that fixed lol but now the right turn signal is on in the dash, rear turn sigbals are blinking together the front works fine lol

    Lol see its not my truck, his truck runs great but the lights are all F up, I told him I dont see a problem its been an electrical night mare since day one with this truck.

    It's a 99 truck that we converted everything to 04 except the chassis harness. All the grounds seem good. Do we need to upgrade the harness or cam we do some re pinning on the one that's in it?

    what about the fuse box? did it come with the 04 engine harness and you just plugged the old chassis harness connectors into it? maybe some circuits on it are in a different location than the one from the 09?? idk man. thinking outside the box here. lol

    and when you say "everything" do you mean all of the drivetrain stuff only OR LITERALLY EVERYTHING like gauge cluster/radio/ac etc... if you changed all that also, maybe the BCM is freaking out not being able to communitcate correctly with the newer stuff????

    Literally everything but the body harness. We compared the wiring to g's truck and it is definitely different but we need to know where to re pin everything or if it's even possible
