6.0 LS into a 90 Chevy Silverado rcsb

Hey everyone! I'm gearing towards an Ls swap into my 90 Chevy pickup. It's currently equipped with the (slow as a dog) 350 tbi / 700r4 auto setup. I'm looking to drop a 6.0 LS motor in it, but I have a bunch of questions about the swap. Now, I have been looking on eBay and found motors with the tranny, wiring, eco, tthrottle by wire pedal, and so on. But what I want to know, is have any of you done this swap before? What problems should I expect to encounter? And is there any specific wiring harness or adapters to make all of the factory gauges and stuff compatible with the newer gen motor. Any help or advice is a step closer than I've been able to get on my own, and hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone!

    Shaun

Oh, and tranny tailshaft length, and spline count/compatibility with the driveshaft. Thanks again!

Could you post a link to one on a reply? The only sticky I'm able to find in the "v8 conversions" forum is the 4.3 to 5.3 sticky. I'm also on my phone, so I may have to check from an actual computer. Thanks!

Your best bet to do dbc not dbw...you stock pedal will work and use an 99-02 cable! If you going 6.0 don't use the 700. 60e or 80e. 80e is best. If get the psi harness pretty easy to to hook up plug and play really.

Hard to find, I know. This was literally the first sticky in the LSX Conversion forum. Obviously the not the first place you'd look for an LSX conversion.
