What cam for a Suburban?
If it wasn't so easy to change cams on a LS motor, I likely wouldn't even consider this.
My goals..
1. More Power (obviously)
2. Stock or better MPG
3. Stock drivability
4. Plenty low end torque and grunt
My considerations were LS6 or TR 220/220 - 114
Whats your thoughts guys?

For a pig like a suburban that's the one I'd go with. Or the 455-11.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have the same needs for my suburban, only mine is an '07 with the variable displacement, cylinder shut off bull crap. Will those cams work if I have the variable crap tuned off or do I need a whole different setup? I need more torque and midrange power for towing and know that at this point I need a cam to fix it but not sure what will work.

You'll need a DOD replacement kit (lifters, valley cover, springs and pushrods) if I'm not mistaken. Can't just tune it out. Or one of the few DOD compatible cam kits.
