    Two questions

#1, on a ls1 intake right below the MAP sensor there is a small vacuum port. What hooks up to it? Can I block it off or use it for a vacuum guage?

#2, on the 4l60e trans there is a breather hose. I've got it hooked up but the bottom end is just hanging down. Where does that end go? Hope that makes sense.

As usual thanks for the help.

When I pulled my 60 the breather hose is hooked up to the nipple on top of the tranny n the other end was on a braket on the top bolt of the bellhousing.
U can pretty much hang it anywhere. I think

Doesn't matter where u put it unless it is a 4x4 an u plan on doing water crossing an bearing it in mud, if so up behind the motor would be a good place.

nipple on the ls1 intake is for the heater controls on the fbody and vettes. you can cap it or use it for boost gauge

Thanks for helping. I'm all set with the intake question, but he breather question has me stumped. Mine is teed at the top of the tranny and from there the hose goes to the top of the bell housing with the dust cap, but at the tee a long hose just hangs down and thats the part that s got me. Seems that its not needed at all but I dont want to plug it off and have a tranny problem. Thanks.

On the trans vent, it's not critical. Nothing will come out of it unless you have a major internal pressure loss or run it way too hot. You can run it any way you like, just don't plug it or the dipstick tube will have trouble taking fluid. I don't know why they have a tee from the factory, just one of those goofy things I guess. The 4x4 models have a separate hose for the tcase that runs up to the same bracket on the center bell housing bolt as your hose goes to.

OK,I'll just secure it out of the way and loop it once so no debris gets in it and call it a day! Thanks again everyone for your assistance.
