'95 OBS C1500 to 5.3L, 4L80e swap

Hi Everyone,

I've wanted to do a LSX swap in a OBS truck for a little bit now. Rather than converting my '92 I was lucky enough to find a '95 with a 6.0L and a 4L80e. Unfortunately I didn't get to keep the 6.0L. I've already swapped the 5.3 in and it runs and drives with the old setup. Only problem, it still has the original OBS harness and the 6.0L harness. It's ugly under the hood!

I've been influenced lately by a couple of guys over at sloppy mechanics, but I would like to get this wiring nightmare in order so I can start phase 2, introduction of the turbo.

I have done some looking around and there seems to be some options for standalone harnesses, OE ECU's full integration of the 2 harnesses to make everything work. I'd like to keep it simplistic for tuning option, but I would also like to keep a clean look and have the factory options work. My budget is pretty limited and knowledge of automotive wiring is not great. I just wanted to get your take on best options.

I know there are MSD 6LS & MS1, Factory ECU Flashing, Optishift for the trans. I just wanted to get others take on finishing the electrical end of this.

Just pay the bucks one time, and get it right the first time, through a fellow named "FarmTruc" here on the board. He knows what each and every LS/tranny combo needs for wiring, turbo(s) or not. Detailed workmanship. You name it, he's done it.
