Hey y'all what's up?
I have a 1998 Tahoe with 302,xxx miles that I'm swapping either a Vortec HT383E that I can get in the crate for $800, or doing a turbo 5.3.
So I'll be reading through threads and asking advice and posting pics and updates...

I've noticed a lot of people don't mess with the obs trucks and especially Tahoe's.
Any particular reason?

What are u talking about, my brother an I just drove up to your neck of the woods an got my 93. There are alot of people that like that body style.

As far as performance though. I see a lot with like am exhaust and lowered on some rims, but none really performance minded.

I think he meant messing with the origina 350, because there are quite a few LS conversion trucks on here

Obs LS conversions? Cause what I'm thinking about doing. That or a GMPP HT383E...
I may need some help deciding, $$$ and difficulty will obviously be the main deciding factors...

There is a whole section of the forum dedicated to doing it, there is even a complete write up about it, I've never read them but I'm sure there is some useful info in there.
