2003 work truck to pw and pl?

I have the door panels, switches, and door harnesses from a 2003 truck. Will the "work truck" body accomadate my harness once I install the power windows? Hoping someone has tackled this before and has some good info for me. I also have the bcm so may add the keyless entry to it as well! Thanks very much in advance!!

no, you need the bcm from the truck all that stuff came from or another truck with power windows, and where the doors plugs into have to be changed and the harness behind the dash also, I've done it several times and if you want a seemless install with no issues that's what you're gonna need. The bcm will hafta be changed and you can repin for the plugs under the dash if you don't wanna do all the other stuff I mentioned but its gonna be a pain in the ass if not.

You have everything you need absolutely, but I think you'd be crazy to rip that whole dash out!! My Colorado was all manual options as well, I bought the OEM parts door panels switches ex. Well when It really came down to it, I ended up going aftermarket kits for the windows and door locks. Much easier and they have been in my truck for 8 years so far, and I only have had to replace one door switch. I do understand the need for the oem look trust me, good luck with your swap!!!

    I just had a thought...

If that BCM came from a donor truck It would have stored the vin from that vehicle, I was just reading about it in my Helms book the other day. The only way to get away from having it reflashed would be to buy a brand new (never plugged in) BCM, then when it's plugged into your truck it would learn your vin number. Serial data is a pain!!!

On another note you could put the oem switches and door panels in, and then get an aftermarket window and door lock kit and make that work stand alone but still have the oem look.

I have no problem reprogramming vin numbers. I have all the software to do that. I have messed with alot of f-body stuff, just not as familiar with the truck stuff. I have not looked into aftermarket kits, didn't even know they existed. I don't care about factory look. I would be happy with only power locks but I don't have those door panels!
