    changin my plugs i have plat 4s now but ppl have been sayin switch to ngk or iridium delcos? any input on this
    1999 GMC Sierra black reg cab short bed SLE Z71 5.3 <--CARDOMAIN PICS
    NELSON 93 hot tune, 02 PCM, VOLANT Ram air intake, MSD wires, ACdelco iridium plugs , Edelbrock ceramic shorty headers, jegs off-road y pipe, Dynamax int pipe, 3" Magnaflow Exhaust with turndown, EGR removal, throttle body bypass, vette servo, long servo pin, performance 4th apply piston, B&M shift kit, SLP 160* thermostat, LS1 Fans, NELSON harness, ported and polished throttle body (did it myself, for free lol)..... _______? cam is next as soon as i stop spending all my money

    there&#39;s nothing wrong with platinums if you&#39;re going to keep your engine stock. If you&#39;re spraying Nitrous or Turdo/Supercharged, it&#39;s better not to run the platinum due to detination. Platinums tend to burn the buttons off of the strap and the tips will melt. Been there, done that&#33; LOL

    hell i&#39;ve ran both ngk tr55ix and stock irridium plugs and i have found with my set up the stock ones work just as well as the ngk&#39;s.

    i dont see why anyone would use aftermarket plugs without any forced induction or nitrous???

    just put in some delco iridiums in and the truck actually runs a lot better id say ill stick with them good ol acdelco
