Avg 1/4 mile time gain with cam swap

Wandering what bout how much time cut I should experience with cam swap. Before cam I had cold air, exhaust, PP TB, and tune ran a 15.5. Since then I did a cam swap, built tranny, 3200 stall and ran 14.66. Should I have gained more than this?

my opinion that gear swap would be a waste of time in a big truck, either keep the 3:73s or go 4:30s for a better improvement
