Estimate your horespower based on weight vs. e.t. or trap speed

Ran mine at 13.41 and 5250 weight. Showed 430rwhp. Allens dyno rated mine at 396hp on a hot day before I added the meth kit. I believe this is a good estimate.

Why are the estimates based on ET and MPH so different?

For mine the calc is as follows for a 5000 lbs.

ET 13.80 = 376 & 444 HP
MPH 103 = 426 & 503 HP

My guess is traction off the line accounts for the difference.

According to the calculators I would need to run a 13.24 to have the same HP as my MPH calculation suggests.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

well i found my weight, 2,767 and i ran the 1/4 in 79.60, and it says im producing 106 HP and 125 at the flywheel. i dont know about ya'll but that seems a little unreasonable to me. i mean 106 HP come on, a geo metro probably produces more HP then that.
