    new from louisiana

    hi guys i am new from la. i have a 72 chevy c10 i am planning on putting a 5.3/4l60e that i got out of a 2001 silverado. i cam here because i hear this is the best place for all the swap info i will need.

    i will post some more info of the truck and pics as i make progress.

    heres what it looked like when i bought it.

    added some porterbuilt parts and ART arms.

    before the bed was on

    bed back on ready to come home.

    back home and on the pavement. still alot of work to do. fenders just sitting against the tire.

    i will def be asking you alot of questions ray. gotta go pick up the donor motor to see what all i need. i know i will need a Fbody oil pan to fit the dropmember according to Nate.
    ive been thinking of getting a ls1 intake because they look better but i may just make a custom cover for the stock intake.
