Project EFI to Carb in my 2007 Silverado

Well, I've decided to do something a little bit different from the normal this next year on my truck. Most people will say "what a dumb idea" blah blah blah, but I'm going to take a bit of an old school approach at going fast next year.

The parts list I have worked up so far is:
    Quickfuel 950cfm e85 Carb
    MSD 6LS Ignition
    20gallon Aluminum Fuel cell
Holley Billet 150 fuel pump w/12-803 regulator
    Push lock fuel line

Still trying to figure out which throttle pedal to use and which/how long of throttle cable I need to buy. Thinking prolly just a 99-02 silverado pedal and some kind of Lokar cable. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

That's like selling your flat screen and buying a old floor model..... Jk. It's definitely different and should be interesting too. Good luck with the build. And the first thing I thought of when I saw your carb was a leprechaun.

Nice project, you might want to go with a bigger cell.. You will wish you had those 5 or 6 extra gallons.

Just thought of a possible obstacle. Since I'll be doing away with factory PCM, how will I start my truck? I had to hook my park neutral switch up before it would run when I put the new trans in

Basically I don't know if the pcm tells the bcm anything that will cause troubles once the pcm is gone. Thanks

Could always resort back to non-databus wiring aka 99-02

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
