    Fuel return question

Before I tear into my swap I have a quick question, I know to use the 96 up 1500 fuel pump in place of my stock pump. My truck has a return line on the throttle body but my donor engine only has the feed and no return. Did any earlier year model engines use a feed/return style rail, I'd rather change fuel rails than to have to mess with the corvette style filter and have to do all the line modifications.

99-03 4.8/5.3/6..0 used a 2 line rail with FPR integrated.

Thanks, I will do some checking tommorrow at the junkyard and see if I can trade mine for one of the older ones. Do you by chance know what fittings/adapters I will need to adapt my lines on my 94 model with 4.3 in it to the new rail?

Look in the OBS GENIII conversion sticky. Those fittings are listed for a 5.7, should be the same as a 4.3.
I got mine from summit, don't have the numbers off hand.

Just a thought I'd go with the filter. Its not that difficult. Specially with you already having the pump and lines for it. Less mess around the engine and less chance of leaking fuel at the engine due to less connections.

    Just my .02
