I've been out of the audio/video game for too long. Does anyone have a suggestion for a budget friendly double din head unit? Obviously in this day and age, DVD capable and touch screen. Looking for something with a 6 inch or better screen. I've always been a Pioneer guy when it comes to head units, but I'm willing to try something new. My only major requirement is that it has an aux in and SDHC capable.

power akoustic is awesome for the money... 200 dollars on ebay for a 7 inch flipout.. nothing compared to a pioneer or alpine though.. i would just hit up ebay.. you can get a pioneer 7in touch screen all day for 400 bucks like i got and i love it... i got an AVH-4100 or 4200 DVD.. cant remember..

Check out the PIONEER AVH-P3300BT. I put one in my wife's car. It works great and it has bluetooth. You can hook up sd card, dvd, aux in, sat radio - you can add anything to it!!!

i put a P4300DVD in my truck a few months ago. I got it because I didn't like the way the USB cords come off the front of the 3300BT and the screen is bigger. Both nice units and I didn't really care about having nav.
I don't care about NAV either. My only problem with the 4300 is the aux being behind the face. Thats the main reason I'm getting something new. The aux on my factory one is going out.

It's not behind the face, it runs from the back of the unit. I have my cable ran to the inside of my center console so my ipod is out of sight. The SD card ,cd and microphone input for imaging are behind the face, that's all.
I have a factory integration harness I'd sell you if you need one. I traded trucks and had the pioneer AVH-P3000 in my 08' GMC. This bypasses on star and integrates the factory harness. I've seen the Pioneer 3300BT go for around $400 online at woofersect.com.

You can get the 4300 for around 320 shipped on ebay. If it doesn't have the aux port behind the face plate like Pitch Black said, then I'll probably pick one up. The harness lets you use steering wheel controls?
