    Lifter preload questions.

Alright my truck has a decent tick, definitely valve train. It's a high lift cam with a .025 smaller base circle than stock. My heads are supposedly only decked .030, but to get 243's down to the 59cc Patriot advertises them at (stock is 64), I know it takes more than .030 despite what the sales guy @ Patriot told me. I threw a set of 7.4 pushrods in with the logic of "The cam needs .025 longer, the heads are decked .030, the lifters can eat the leftover .005."

Not ideal I know. So I bought a pushrod length checker, I know how to use it. I just can't find anywhere how much pre-load to put on the old style (non-LS7) lifters.
