    Factory equipped e-fans

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the proper section, but here goes my question. My 05
CC has what seems to be factory equipped e-fans, and no engine driven fan. Were some trucks equipped with e-fans from the factory? If so, what was the RPO code?

I don't really know why I'm asking other than the fact I just want to know.

Starting in 2005 all the 1/2 tons got electric fans, bigger front brakes, and rear drum brakes.

Thanks, Frenchy. BTW why did they switch back to rear drums? How hard is it to install rear discs from older models?

As far as I know they went to drums to get a parking brake that actually worked. Probably cost too.

Oh, that could be why it doesn't work as well on my dad's 01 RCSB.

I've been wondering something about brakes myself. My 08 RCSB didn't have the rear disks. I know at the time, the Vmax's did. I got my 2010 and it has them. I wonder if it's because I have the 6.2 or if they actually switched back on certain models.
