Stock trans, I want some firmer shifts so I will be going with a TransGo. Oh yea, not to get off topic but how many washers in the accumulators?

Anyway, I know there's the billet super servo($79) for 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and overdrive servo($69) for the 3-4 shift right? That's kinda pricey
Is there the intermediate and OD vette servos? I just see one vette servo for $15 which firms up the 1-2 shift, what about the other shifts? For $15 that ain't bad, but I dunno....
Are the billet servos too much for the little power I have? Will it wear down anything?

    Heyhey...

get the TransGo installed with NO washers in the 1-2 accumulator. The washers only increase the firmness of the 1-2 shift. Also what trans place you choose, get them to see if your 1-2 accumulator piston is plastic or metal...if it is plastic get the metal one!

It is pretty nice under 2500rpms then when you get over that the shifts are very quick and tight...how they should be without any additional stress on the internals.

I have both of the billet servos and their shift quality increase as well as speed justified their cost. The 'Vette servo makes a decent difference but if you are working the trans over, just do it once the right way. The 'Vette one is only the intermediate one, there is no 'Vette OD one. I had problems with my overrun clutches coming on fast enough on a 3-2 down shift, now with the TransGo/Billets my 3-2 and 4-2 are nice and tight.

With my TransGo with no washers and both billets and TqMgt I got a WOT 1-2 upshift time of 0.08 sec!

I def. agree on that, the billet servo is the way to go, you might as well make it right the first time. some of the vette guys upgrade their's to the billet so that should prove it.

if you want a stronger third gear, the shift kit will help 100%, but a stronger clutch pack is best, however you have to remove the trans and tear it apart, which sux, you should fine though,
