    Angry Battery Gauge

So, I can't figure out what in the world is going on, but everytime i romp on it from a standstill or get above 75 my gauge drops and eveything but the stereo dims. It only does it at night, for some reason. I've watched it during the day. I've checked all my grounds and hot wires. I've even checked the headlight wiring to see if there's a short or anything. so far I've come up with nothing. I've tried turning my sound system off, and I've watched it during the day. It only does it at night, system or no system. It's starting to piss me off.

Racing is a real sport. Because football, baseball, soccer, and golf only require one ball.

possibly alt when it gets to a certain speed not putting out enough power? see what the rpm is when it does it, drop a gear and try to bring it to that rpm. I wouldn't think actual speed has anything to do with it.

Only other thing besides the alt would be the battery or the connections. You can have the batter load tested and see if it passes. Could be a weak cell or it only having a surface charge. Also look for a loose ground wire, bulging in the cables, or corrosion.
