    Edit: Forgot about the knock sensors, lol. You could drill and tap the stocker for a fitting, just wouldn't be baffled like the LS6 cover. The plus side would be you wouldn't have to do any grinding to the block...

    It's funny you mention modifying the LS1 valley plate cuz I thought about drilling and tapping hose barbs into my existing valley plate - poor man's LS6 valley plate
