    pace setter shorties vs ebay lt's????

    i currently have pacesetter sorties on my truck an been having alot of leaking problems on the flange that bolts to the heads, i was wondering should i just spent money and get some really good gaskets or should i just get the ebay stainless headers, and if i get the lt's are they worht 300 more dollors and if so how come? also it looks like they have fake cats???? any info would be great help, i got alittle money but dont wanna waste it when i could get something else. thanks guys

    Shorties aren't worth a flip to begin with. They flow just like stock manifolds. Long tubes provide scavenging of gasses which sucks them out faster. They are worth it.

    kk, cuz i got the ones now and like i said there leaking, if i go with lt's im gunna deff do the stainless ones from speed daddy, i got about 3-500 bucks to spend looking for a sulution for my leaking problem and then the reast to try and make my truck faster... u think the lts r the ticket then?

    ya i just went off of what this shop told me about how good shorties are over stock now kinda wishing i didnt buy them but now that i got em im trying to decide of its worth the money to get the lt's or just spend the money or really goood gaskets fix the shorties and spend the other money on some other mod? got 3-500 to spend wanna get the most outa what i got since i hardly come across a few bucks lately ... thanks guys for the help

    so at this point im kinda leaning on doing it? but by doing so will i notice much change in performance? also ill have to get the rear o2 sensors deleated correct?

    ooo and idk if this helps but my shorties are 1.5in collectors and 2.5 in collectors? i know the lt's are 1.3/4 primaries and 3in collectors i think?

    darnie, sent you a PM.
    you have 1 1/2" primaries now and 2.5" collectors, with the LT's you will have bigger primaries and 3" collectors, so you will have soem gain in lowend.
