Planning a trip to TEXAS in december, suggestions please!!!!!!!!

As mentioned, a friend of mine and I are planning a trip to TEXAS. I know there are tons of you on here from
TEXAS, so please chime in as I've never been there before. We want to be near beaches for a day or two, and
I'll be driving my chevy because that's the cool thing to do.

    P.S. hello everyone, I know I haven't been on in a while.

LOL at Chris, and I'm pretty sure I'll be spending time on this island. Unless ofcourse someone can change my mind on that, all I have to base any of this trip on is your guys' word and the interwebz.
