    Hanging with some ricers !!!

Well, I was call to test against some of this fellows, because an US tuner came here to live tune most of them. Today they were not ready, Mechanical problems and little details showed up. But I am eager to test against them.

The Red one is a Subaru Cosworth Impresa, the Engine was open to 3.0L from the original Cosworth 2.5L 400HP, a lot is moded in that Little devil, and sing at a tune of 700+AWHP (Those are limited Edition, only like 70-80 units were built at england, and few were moded like this one)

Also there was the infamous RX7 that sounded nice, but looked more like a drift car to me.

An EVO MR showed up too, but wasnt as scaring as the legend around here, a White (trash) Subaru, with a moded Everything. 1075HP according to the owner and mid 9 sec street car. Why street? Because he use it on regular basis and only problem now and then is the WG gasket.

My truck look like a quaterback between ballarinas !!!!!!

yea 9s in 1/8th if he's lucky ricers always have excuses on why they cant race, it usually has something to do with the gravitational pull of the earth

Your truck looks good! Keep us updated on the racing!!

I've always liked those mid 90's rx7's. I want one with an LS engine.

Lambodonomo is right on the spot.
Last night the red Subaru owner bother all night to race against me. I was with the Lady on a dinner, and after that we went to the house for the truck. We meet at a big highway with a lot of people in the street racing scene down here. To tell the truth I was scare. I put 5glns of racing gas for some insurance and we raced 4 times.
The first one I was on 9 psi street tune. All reaces where from a 30mph roll, no boost for me. He got the jump on me but then I get him and slowly start gaining. He let go and went to the side of the road to check his engine because he thought some hose was off or some sensor down. I open my hood and raise to 11psi. I kne my tune was on the rich side over 9psi, but I had to try. AFR over 9psi is 10 or below. Felt some minor bogus on top end. Next 3 races I almost felt sorry for him. 5 to 6 car lenght over him, and every body was watching.
He then told everybody that his car gas on pump gas, that only pushing 15psi, that the knock control this, that the traction control that!!!!
He ask me to race him in 3 weeks, I said no problem dude. Let's see if the gravity pull helps him this time !!!!!!
