Most popular is a Walbro 340 255lph pump. Beware of asian knock offs on ebay

That is an excellent choice in fuel pumps. 81, just make sure if you haven't already gotten into it to get the fuel tank for an 87 and the sender for an 87 as well. And what are you doing about the return line? I recommend the corvette fuel filter Wix p/n: 33737. Check rockauto.com for some killer prices.

Thanks, what's the advantage going with the 87?

87 was the 1st year for fuel injection. The gas tanks have a "bowl" built into them to prevent fuel sloshing so it doesn't starve the fuel pump under hard accel or braking. The other advantage is you can run the in-tank fuel pump for a cleaner install and less clutter on the frame rails.

Any chance ya got a p/n for those in tank pumps?

						I think this is the one EP381 Delco# (E3270 Airtex #) = Flow = 50-60 GPH & PSI = 80-90
Also, go to rockauto.com to save a lot of money. I just placed an order there and saved about $300 over O'Rielly Auto and even found a discount code w/a google search for an extra 5% off.
