    Bad weekend

I guess I should start from the beginning. We got a call last night (Saturday night), at around 7 that my grandfather was at death's door, and that he wasn't expected to make it through the night. So my dad, aunt, and my self rushed to Barrie and made it in record time (Note to Sleeper1500: Try County RD17 next time you get tires.), Dad and I ended up spending the night at my other aunt's place in Barrie... Of course the whole thing turned out to be a false alarm (Or so I thought) it turns out the doctors were off by a night, as I've just found out that my grandfather just passed away. It hurts quite deeply, but I'm comforted by the fact that he'd lived a long life (7 days short of being 92), and that he'd done a lot in his life. Such as surviving WWII, and being the first fire chief in the village of Shakespeare. Needless to say, I'm glad I got a bit of a nap when I got home this afternoon, because I won't be sleeping tonight.

Thanks again all. Everyone seems to be holding up ok, but it's still hard to lose a family member.
