? on pump for 4l60e

the pump on my buddys 60e broke today . i say broke becuase it also took out one of the ears on the tc . here's my ? will this require a complete rebuild or will replacing the pump work .

I would go with a complete rebuild, I say that because if the oil pump from your motor fraged its self in its last secs of life it would put metal in all your oil passages. I think the same would happen to a trans pump

I'm with him your already that far into it why chance it, besides a good time to freshin up everything and give it some upgrades.
