    comp cams help (cam number)

So I know this thread isn’t the norm “is this a good cam for me” thread, It’s a “help me find this cam” thread. I am using desktop dyno 3.0 to help me build my motor before I start buying hard parts so I can test different cams and heads on my motor (iron ls1) and I found the cam I want, desktop dyno has it listed as a “compcams 12-4448-v8” and I cant seem to find it on there sight. Has comp changed the way they list cam’s?

    Cam specs:

    @.050 duration
    Intake: 248
    Exh: 262

    Centerline
    Intake: 106
    exh: 114

    lift
    Intake: .562
    exh: .580

    cam lob center angle: 110

any help would be oh so nice

that looks more like a small block cam, not an LS cam...

looks like this is the cam...COMP-08-444-8 because 12-444-8 looks way different...

but both are SBC cams, not LS cams

Lots of duration with not lots of lift.

This might just be due to my lack of knowledge but I dint realize that the lsx motors needed a special hyd roller cam and a reg sbc hyd roller cam wouldn’t work. As for the duration of the cam yea it has a lot, but it tested the best out of the 300 some od cams in the desktop dyno cam library for sbc in my iron ls1 build
    Happy b day skeet

That right there just shows that you're using desktop dyno wrong. SBC amd LSx motors are totally dIfferent and so are the cams that go in them....

maybe so, there isn’t a "ls1" or "gen 3" tab under sbc blocks so I hade to add the bore and stroke manually.

That's probably because it's not an SBC block......
Ask Boz (truckinl33) for some help with desktop dyno. I know he has done some stuff for me and has always worked well.
