Not sure if this is the right forum ....but....

OnStar has a deal where you can use the built in phone on your Verizon plan.
It requires 5th (pretty sure about this) generation digital OnStar hardware in the vehicle, instead of the older analog equipment, according to the OnStar rep. Of course, my 2004 has the old stuff. I have talked to the dealer and Chevrolet service, and I cannot seem to get an answer as to whether or not they can swap the hardware. Anyone have a good source for an aswer to this question?
