    overflow tanks

I'm wanting to make some space under hood I'm just worried about overheating/reliability and keeping the coolant sensor. Ive got the bigger radiator and will install elec fans when i do this. does anybody know of another factory tank that's allot smaller? I'm thinking id like to mount it on the fan shroud if possible. basically i need to clear the entire pass side wheel housing. as I'm sitting here typing I'm thinking i could even take off the plastic shroud between the grille and the radiator support and mount in front. The main idea is to make the filler cap the high point yes? just looking for ideas / what people have done before.

I know that casey eliminated the tank all together. He put a rad. cap inline in the top rad. hose. I would imagine that he runs a small line off the cap to an overflow can. You can get overflow cans pretty small and mount just about anywhere. He'll probably chime in and give more detail.

Has anyone else done something similar eliminating the surge tank?

However, you're already talking bs and the truck is on jack stands, lol.
Get it on the track, run some respectable times, then say "to all the haterz" because that vid is weak lol.
You got a long ways to go to compete with the turbos!

Go turbo and be done with it.

I had canton make a bunch for me. It's cylindrical less than 12in in height
has a big 7/8 fitting on the bottom so the factory coolant hose fits
has rad cap and two fitting on top. Works great
oh ya is three inch diameter
