A trans I bought a while back came with a DACCO 3000 stall. The converter fell apart before I even put any power to it so they warrentied it, that's why I was asking.

I've read that a lot of people run their replacement I6 Trailblazer converter with good results.

I'm running one in my 68 C-10, the motor is putting out around 450, and it's a DACCO 3000 stall hooked to a 700R4, I've only been running the combination for about 6 months and maybe 4,000 miles, but so far no problems

I've tried a Dacco 2000, it seemed fine to me.
