    HP tuners, someone help me!

I own an '05 Silverado, and I just acquired HP tuners. The softwear I have is the first version they came out with, I forget exactly what the name is. It has credits for an '02 Camaro on it, and apparently I am no longer able to buy credits for any other vehicles becuase they don't support this old softwear any more. Can I purchase an '02 Camaro PCM, and use it in my '05 Silverado for tuning?

so you have the serial version?

I would just buy the right software instead of switching the pcms. there were many changes between those years.

I wouldn't switch PCMs and I'm not sure if they are even compatible. If you have the serial number and password for your software you should be able to get on HPtuners website and upgrade to the current version which is version 2.22. Its free and then you should be able to buy 05 credits.

I think the problem is he has the old version of the actual box connector thing, not the sofware.

Ah, I see . Then yeah you'd have to buy the right software.

They had the option of upgrading to the new version for something like $150 I think. The cutoff was September though, so I'm pretty sure I missed it. I have the usb adapter, but I don't have the ability to get the right credits. I really wish an '02 Camaro PCM would work for me. How much can possibly have changed?

02 camaro calibration/pinout has a different pinout than the 05 truck, it won't work.

Come on guys, the softwear was free. I gotta try to make it work. You're saying if I re-pin the pcm, it will work? O how that would make me the happiest boy in town!
