Gonna get some LTs soon. I was thinking I wanted to go with LPPs because of the 3" collectors. But now I am looking at the OBX again since they make a version that comes will bolt into my stock dual exhaust with no mods. Like $520 shipped for the OBX (quick eBay scan) and since I won't have to have any crossovers made will probably be a little cheaper than the LPPs.
How much difference will it make having the 2.5" collectors rather than the 3"?

LPP's site says they are out of inventory right now.
thought they came with ORY... well they do for 5.3

They come with a Y for the 5.3.
My truck doesn't have a Y, it has duals back to the muffler. I emailed LPP and they said $425 for the headers alone, with no y-pipe.
Didn't see anything on ebay, unless somebody has a link.

keep the duals, but why cant you just bolt the duals up to the headers? not understanding the crossover pipe you speak of?

I am keeping the duals, that's the problem. My truck has duals all the way back to the muffler factory (6.0). So there is no y-pipe.
Here is a pic I found of the OBX dual setup. This is what would bolt to my existing exhaust:
Basically I am looking for that setup, but would rather have the LPP headers. Mid pipes I guess is the correct term here.
