my bro got me a true flow intake of his friend for 50 ita just the tube im getting a k/n filter for when i get some money .but i think i better change my oil first lol it has been saying change me for like 12,000 miles now. glad it got mobil 1last time

An oil and filter change is $15. I'm not trying to be a dick, but proper maintenance is the only way to ensure your engine lasts. Otherwise start saving now, those main bearings love to run dry :facepalm:

if it has been telling you to change the oil for 12k that means you have over 15k on the oil, wow, if your truck had arms it would punch you in the nuts, walmart sells oil for $1.50 a quart. sell the air tube and buy some oil.

im sure no one is tryin to be an a hole here, but, that neglects crazy, your bro would under stand if you sold it to do some stuff to keep the truck alive, i understand about the $, but a new motor is way more $ than simple routine things. i would make sure i had a truck that ran before i worried about mods. my avalanche is my baby it pulls a close third after my girl and kid, i would not starve my family nor would i neglect my avy. just my 2 cents, good luck
