what years direct swap? 5.3 LM7

Hey guys new here. Long story short, broke a rod in my 2000 half ton pickup 5.3. gonna put a motor with 65k in it (mine had 165k). wondering what years will cross over and bolt in? 99 to 2002? thats what im thinking just verifying. thanks!

keep in mind, california smog! and before anyone mentions it, ive thought about a 6.0 swap, but ive heard the stock 4l60e wont last long with it.

so i hear from 99 to early 00 there were 19lb injectors, and late 00 to 2002 they were 24lb. how big of a deal is this? and maybe ill just swap my injectors over..

also understand that i need the cable throttle, or swap over my intake manifold. which may not be a bad idea anyway, if the 24lb injectors wont work.

so to summarize, after some research, what do i need to do to swap a 5.3 from a 2001 tahoe into my 2000 pickup? i will use my harness and ecu, if possible, and if needed (because of drivebywire) i will swap my intake manifold over too. thanks. and sorry so long.
