Have you had the gauge for a while? I borrowed a buddies gauge but it was for the CAN bus system, it would turn on when I plugged it in, but would turn off after it booted up.

I plugged mine into the vette and it did this. Not sure if it was because of loose connector in the back of guage, but worth lookin into David.

If it's an older style then it will turn off and on when it's set to log something it can't.

I had the same problem with mine and it's a common problem they eventually fixed with their newer models. If there is even one PID that it can't read it will turn off. The reason being is that it thinks the engine isn't running and turns itself off because that one PID reads 0.

lol no just unselect that parameter and it should stay on all the time.

For instance if you enabled the aeroforce to log "fuel pressure" and it can't do that, then it would turn off. Just unselect "fuel pressure" and it should star working again.

When you first start it up, click both the buttons and go immediately to the select parameters menu. It shouldn't die when you do that.
