    what should i do?

    well hopefully soon after the new year ill have a new r&p and a truetrac in the yukon so i want to get back into modding! im in the process of striping my 82 ta to fund the 5.3 single turbo swap for my 86 ta. the wife said if i sold the 82 i could use the money for whatever motor i need/want for the 86 so lately ive been doing some pondering.... well im thinking of finding a 80k or less 6.0 and just do the direct swap into my yukon and keep the 5.3 for my car and bam two birds with one stone i know the trans will probably not be far from going out after the swap but atleast ill be one step closer to being kinda quick lol. the only reason i said 80k or less is id like to have somewhat lower/same mileage as what my stock 5.3 currently has. what do you guys think? if i do it ill change the cam and do stall headers and efans at the same time.

    Sounds like a good plan...

    BUT--I know you love the Yukon XL and all...but trying to make that bus fast is like Devin trying to find his dong--damn near impossible! I would get the rearend and dent fixed and then leave it alone... I only say this cause you have two other toys to mess with.

    Leave the 5.3L in the Yukon XL and put the 6.0L in the 86--it will be better--trust me. Then once the 82 is gone and you have recouped some $$$ from that--pour some of it into the 86--to make it perform how you want it to. Quit messing with the SC crap and step up to LSX stuff!!!

    Oh btw i picked it up today and you cant even tell it had ever been hit they even touched up some little nicks and scratches i had in other areas! "sc crap"? What are you talking about? Or did you mean "sbc"?
