    New Tranny

Mine is getting a little worn out. So i was thinking on a FLT level 3 60E or buying this one out of a wrecked 04' 4wd with 18,000 miles on it with converter for $450. Then would throw on a shift kit and servos. Just was wondering if paying an extra $800 was worth it?

The extra cost is worth the piece of mind, but with the mods you have on the truck, a shifkit and servos will last quite some time.
I've seen simple shiftkit installations turn into a nightmare when done incorrectly and most wish they would have just went with a prebuilt transmission to save all the headaches.

May just go with the FLT
