    Another 80e Question.

This post is mainly for clarification.

When Swapping an 80e into an extended cab truck, is the only thing that needs to be done to the factory drive shaft a new yoke and u joint?

I knew the other parts of the swap. I was just unsure about the driveshaft.

The 80 is longer so your ds will need to be cut down.

DS doesnt need to be cut in a ext cab that has a 2 piece DS...at least on mine it didnt as it has enough play in the center section to work perfectly, got a yoke and new u-joint though so yes you are correct on what needs to be done
