Thread: Brakes!

    Hello new guy here, i'm wondering if any 99 to 2004 silverado owners is having brake problems like i'm having. I have spongy to low brake pedal when braking and no lights on! First i took my truck to the dealer and had all rotors and pads replaced and then i took it back again and had them power flush the brake system still no luck. any advise??? maybe brake master cylinder or brake booster i have a 2002 1500 ext cab short bed 2wd 5.3l auto with 3:73

    Unless it goes to the floor I doubt it's the master cylinder...

    Do ya think there's air in the system?

    Also - are you accustomed to driving a different vehicle or something? Truck brakes are pretty soft. I tossed on some Earl's Stainless hoses on my F150... firm as can be.
