    help finding a lift

so heres my story. i just got back from afghanistan and decide that the poor pretty much stock silverado i have had for about 3 years needs alot of love. ordered a 6 inch lift from rough country, shes in the shop now getting the tranny rebuilt. and friday is getting full master rebuild kits front and rear with 4.56s. very exciting times (even though i am almost out of cash but its well worth it) but heres the prob i ran into. the lift i bought from rcx said it would fit 35x12.5 no prob. but of course im rubbing like a mo fo. and i dont want to have my keys turned all the way cause i didnt pay all this money and work my ass off to have my truck ride like ass. so now im looking into a 3 inch body lift to clear these new rims and tires i have. so ive found a few body lift kits for about 385-450 and theres got to be some cheaper ones out there. anyone know of any? possibly some links or know of anyone selling them. from what i gather they are kind of candy around here. and one more prob worrying me. i have the 4x4 shifter on the floor. what exactly is gonna happen with that guy if anyone has run into this before.

summit racing has the best deal on lifts. Check ebay, think i paid 280 for mine, it's a performance accessory (or whatever the big player in the game is) with their sticker over the other.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

all that has to be modified with the floor shifter is in the front of it you need to trim a bit of the floor away but it is covered by the molding so it goes into 4lo

My truck had a body lift when I bought it, hated how it looked. Took it off and threw it in the trash. Cranked up the torsion keys a bit and no rubbing.
