Hooking up SS Seats

Hey guys, went to a car show/ swap meet here in WI.

Got a pair of SS seats in really nice condition for 75 bucks, and i want to put them in my 99 sierra, because my drivers side seat is busted underneath. Now there are two plugs coming out of the drivers seat on the SS seats, theres a small yellow one and a larger harness type thing. Is the smaller one the airbags or something? My 99 seats have that same plug.

Also can i just run power to the SS seat for it to work? Can someone tell me which wires on the harness i need to feed 12V?

yes the small one is your airbag censor the yellow plugs are always the airbag system, you should be able to make the power seats work, also there is a purple or brown wire that is hot with the ignition.

Thanks G, you are always a big help. Is there anything special i need to do before plugging in the airbag sensor? As in undoing the battery or anything?

i never do but someguys get nervous with airbag stuff, so to be on the safe side go ahead and do it, rather do it than have some freak accident and get an airbag at 200mph in the face yea man anytime, im always tearing these trucks apart if you need anything lemme know

any idea where to get the harness, or a plug to fit whats on the power side of the seats?

Just curious, i hate to clip the wires under there.

besides salvage yard no, i can look around and see if i can find my old harness, cus i went to manual seats....wieght reduction

That was me, my dad was holding the bumper part i bought for my truck today as well!
