Hey everyone...i'm new here and am friend with RedneckPimpin...he gave me the idea for this swap since i have spun a bearing in the bottom end of my 5.7 thats in my 97 GMC K1500. Now i've only started with the research for this but i was wondering if anyone knows about swapping motors then having to get the vehicle to pass an inspection. NY just changed the inspection where your vehicle gets plugged into a scanner, and all the info is sent to Albany. Now will a different motor in my vehicle cause me to fail this? I believe its a lot like the Inspections they do out in Cali...also...tell me what to search for on here so i can do some more research into this swap...oh and i dont wanna be cutting my frame so i would like to find more info on relocating the AC pump....and if i think of anything else i'll probably ask it...lol...
