Allen, I am getting a Thunder racing 220/220 .551/.551 112 cam with LS6 ported oil pump, JWIS chain, 7.400 pushrods, 918 springs. I also have a ASP pulley, KN FPIK, Borla exhaust, vette servo, and descreened MAF sensor. I have all the confidence in the world in you when it comes to tuning. Thunder told me that I would lose some low end but pick up alot of mid and upper. I dont know, but how close can you get a tune the first try? I didnt know if you have done this cam in a 5.3 before. At the time that I will install your tune I will also have Thorley headers.
Also they recommended me getting a stall verter, but after the tune and headers I will be short on cash so is that cam and tune drivable without a stall? Thinking a 3000 stall like a TCI or Vigilante, and a built trans but it will be a 4 months after the cam install.
gears that I have are 3.42
But I am thinking about a Eaton and 3.90's or 4.11's Do you have any suggestions on a good gear for the cam I am running Also I have a RCSB and thunder did this cam in a RCSB and made 340rwhp!!!
Thanks in advance
