    intake mani

im trying to figure out what intake manifold to go with for my 5.3 build this summer. im going to have some ported and milled 862s, 226/230 cam on 111 lsa and I would really like to go with either the vic jr. or proflow xt. my truck weighs right under 4000 lbs and i have 4.10s, 28'' slicks and im getting a circle d 3600 stall. so which intake and why?

i personally think you would see gains and a nice wide curve with the proflow at bottom and up top, more being up top.

i would also think a 4k stall and a taller gear

    you plan on spraying ?

    Yea I'm gonna be spraying a 125-150 shot. I want a 4k stall but I don't want to pay the extra $400

understandable, i would look for any small size stall ( if its cheap enough ) then have chris restall it to what you want? just a thought
