    2001si3rr@ and Family Relocated

Ask and ye shall receive, GG!

Not sure many of you guys know but I'm active duty military, and my family and I just completed our first PCS move. For 36 months we will be trading long summer months in Fort Worth, Texas for longer winter months in New Windsor, New York.

I'm sure gonna miss you guys in the DFW area, you all have been very helpfull with some of my situations.... Dale, always being there to help me with my tuning and just great friendly advice! Nathan, not sure what I would have done without your Tech help on my wife's Tahoe, not to mention the A/C in my truck right before the big move, you da man!

Seriously though, we are lucky to have such a big group of GM FANATICS here at LS1truck.

Thanks for the explanation Steve and now you seem as close as always = still far away

Hope it's all working out for you guys. The only test here is to see how long it takes Dale and Tyler to find this topic.

I am still trying to figure out how you swung the deal to get stationed in Texas as an active duty Marine. Have fun in NY.

I was born and raised in Temple, Texas and when I joined in 1997 I joined as a Reservist. So, I drilled in Fort Worth till Jan 2002 when I got activated to go to the sand with my unit. I was activated for 3 years from Jan 2002 to Dec 2005, but in April 2004 I said hell with it and joined a program the Marine Corps calls the Active Reserve or AR Program, basically a Active duty Marine getting paid and all benifits just like an Active counterpart. My MOS is 6256 (Structures and Hydraulics on the KC-130), in the Marine Corps there are only 2 reserve KC-130 units, VMGR-234 there at NAS JRB Fort Worth and the other is VMGR-452 at Stewart ANG Base in Newburgh, NY. Lucky me the only 2 places I would ever be stationed!
