If you did all three of those you would definitely have more power...and the 60e wouldn't last long at all. Add tune and transmission to that list while you're at it...$$$

He is running the stock 5-speed from a regency..... Thats why I advised a t56. Also if he wanted to go to an Auto a complete build on a 4l60e or a FLT tranny would be fine

ok might have to save up for one, but is it very difficult? another question i have is if i swap the 4.8 for a 6.0, will i have complications with my stock electric throttle? my truck is stock and it only ran a 15.9 and that just doesnt work for me lol, hell my old civic was a second quicker then it in the 1/4 lol

If you are doing a 6.0 swap, I would say go ahead and put in an 80e as well unless you want the manual. The other option would be to keep the 4.8 swap to a T-56 and put the mods on the 4.8!

the t-56 would be minimal changes, as long as you get one from a LS1 fbody the bell housing will match any of the LSX blocks, you may have to have your wiring harness reworked a little, but be prepared to spend some $$ they are not cheap neither are the parts that go along with them, but itll probably cost the same if not more to swap to an auto plus with a manual theres minimal parasitic loss and they are hella fun ahah. lots of burn outs. even with a built 4.8 you could have a blast with a t-56 and make 300plus hp.
