    valve cover breather line?

on the nbs trucks there is a breather line for the valve cover that runs into the air intake. will it affect anything if it is left unplugged for a short amount of time?

Go to your local parts store and get the specktre air breather and cap it like at the TB and put the breather on the hose I did.
This will stop the blow by oil from mucking up your intake and will give ya just a little MORE POWER!!!!!!

i just put a little air filter on mine and its much better. i wouldn't want the oil and crud coming out of the valve cover going into my intake.

00 FRC - just top end, exhaust, and a hot-air intake

Dont use the little filter. It will get oil soaked, and either wont let the motor breathe like its supposed to, or will eventually start to seep oil out. get a catch can with a filter on top of it. like this.
http://volvospeed.com/Pics/Review/jazbreather.jpg ----- one line from the passenger side valve cover, one from the driver side valve cover. be sure you put a rubber cap on the intake elbows so you dont have a vac leak.

By not letting oil in your intake. All that oil is what gums up valves and such. less detonation too. your not combusting oil.

On an N/A motor held to less than 7K it probably helps as much as a T/B bypass unless you have EGR.
