Ok, so i called Denny's Driveshafts and I think they are the ones to go with.

    I told them i had an ls1, 60e OD, 4.10 gears, 10bolt, and a +-60" shaft (heheh, shaft).

Jim there said local shops just can't balance shafts that are tuning high rpms, He mentioned that my 4.10 gears and OD just amplify the vibration, not that they are the problem, but they will make a vibration more noticable.
Also, i noticed the diameter of my shaft is small, maybe 3". Jim said i could come in with a 1000$ and he wouldn't sell me a 60" shaft with a diameter of 3". He recommended a 4 or 4.5" in steel , and he said we are probably gonna have to go with the HD Aluminum shaft becuase of the length and strength needed. The LT Aluminum shaft is just not strong enuff for ppl who go to the track.

On top of my vibation problem, there could be another problem, called critical shaft speed, 90% of shops can't balance high enuff to ensure this won't be a problem. I can't explain too much on this becuase i can't remember what he said.

Just thought i'd update you guys,
btw, joe and i replaced my brass tailshaft bushing and the vibe is still there, when will this nightmare end. I want to go to the track and race

Where does your vibration occur? Is it on acceleration, at high speeds? Do you have traction bars? Have you checked your pinion angles?

at about 80+, at least it noticable a lot at that speed, it could be a lot lower, but just not as noticable.

i used to have acceraltion vibes, but the shims took care of that, so it's only at high speeds now, well at least where i can fell it.

no traction bars, just a 2/4 lowering kit.

i'll check pinion angles as soon as i can find someone with a tool, i'm sure i'll find one this week,

i just want it to go away, lol, i haven't gone over 85 in a long time.

    thanks,

i know sleeper, you've been saying aluminum for the last 100years, lol, but i would get a steal one if i didn't think that big bastard would slow me down.

i really don't want to spend that much money but oh well, it's going to be cool so what the hell, also i'll upgrade to the big 1350 pinion yoke.

i'll keep ya'll updated and take pics, first i have to talk the wife into it, doh,

Before you try a new shaft, why dont you try this? Seems like it will work. I know guys that use this same system on wheels and tires with great results. DriveShaft Balancers
